
Texas Aircraft Milling Inc. was founded in 1959
not long after chemical
milling
was
first
utilized for
aircraft construction
to reduce weight. Some of TAM's
earliest contracts were for production of Boeing’s
707 airliner and B52 bomber and
Chance Vought's F8 Crusader
and A7 Corsair II.

Over the past 50 years
the company has been involved in
the production of almost every type of aircraft
built in the US from commercial airliners to
fighter jets, from bombers to business jets and
helicopters. Today TAM continues to be
involved in many commercial and military
programs both fixed wing
and rotorcraft.
Texas Aircraft Milling’s 30,000 square foot
facility is located in Grand Prairie, Texas a only
a few miles west of downtown Dallas off US
Interstate 30 which connecting Dallas and downtown
Fort Worth. Its
location in the metro area provides for convenient
ground and air shipment alternatives.
